This brand new workshop is an aromatic experience with ancient and sacred wildcrafted botanicals, resins and nature elements. In this nature and spiritual energy-inspired workshop you will learn ways to use wildcrafted botanicals and healing modalities to create your own natural essences. There is no equipment needed, just simple supplies that will be used in class. Students will be able to make these essences easily in small apartments, while traveling and in other “limited area” spaces.

This class is intended for anyone being called to deepen their connection nature and wilderness wisdom. We will experience plant essences made in class and ones that Marla has created in the Grand Teton mountains for Wyoming. Students will make and take home two of their essences and learn how to create them using wildcrafted botanicals or by ordering high-quality botanicals online. There is no prerequisite for this class, so if you feel intriqued and inspired, please join us. Energy workers, lightworkers, indie beauty creatives, those who create sacred space such as yoga teachers, massage therapists, shamans and Reiki Masters can also make and use these essences in their practices.

These essences may be used as natural perfumes, aromatherapy mists, energetic sprays, spray smudges. They can be blended together to create co-essences which are interesting blends when combining the wisdom of two or more botanicals. As you know, nature is a teacher, a guide and a healer. You will experience the healing of these essences during the class and it will deepen as you work with it beyond the class. If you reside in a place where you feel you are limited to wildcrafted material, there are many places to buy online and those suppliers will be shared in class.

Students will explore wildcrafted botanicals and other elements. You’ll create your own sacred blends in two natural, wildcrafted essence sprays. Marla will guide students through techniques and methods of extracting essences through energy, glycerites, alcohol and plant oils. It’s important to connect with the plant or earth elements with which we work, and this will be covered in class. There is an energy and intention we will put into our blends. You will learn to create “coding” and infuse it with energy. This is much deeper and sacred than just calling our products “infused” or “infused with energy.” We must use the alchemical process through intention.

This class is intended for healers, lightworkers, massage therapists, yoga enthusiasts, and anyone interested in alchemy, energy healing, sacred earth energies and space clearing. Student will receive hands-on experience, custom take-home products, and a valuable class handout.

Alchemy began for me as a child growing up in central Illinois. I would create infusions with botanicals found walking in the woods, forgaging in fields and in my garden. In 1998 I created my botanical beauty company, launching stores in Boston and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Now I show students how to create their own indie beauty products and encourage them through their transformational journey.
I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in Journalism, worked in corporate as a market research analyst for Forrester Research and have 20 years experience as an organic, indie beauty formulator. I am also a Reiki Master and shamanic energy healer. I see/feel beyond 3D thinking and into the formless of 5D and beyond. It's an interesting life!
